Shahi Paneer

For 4 people

1 medium size onion, 1 clove garlic a small piece ginger finely minced using food processer(it has to be minced not ground)
1 small can tomato sauce u can find it it safeway/lucky under canned tomato section
1 can evaporated milk u can find it in sugar- baking goods section
1 spoon light brown sugar(u can use this for all things where u want to bring down saltiness, available in bakery section again)
1/2 spoon ground elaichi/cardamom
2 spoon MDH shahi paneer masala and 1 spoon MDH kitchen king masala (or 3 spoon good curry powder)
2 table spoon spoon butter or butter substitute (smart balance is good)
salt to taste
3 tablespoon oil
paneer cubed and microwaved for about seconds
10 almonds in 1/2 cup water for say 40 seconds, peeled and ground to a fine paste

in a pan add oil after a minute add onion garlic ginger mixture
saute for say a minute
add shahi panner masala, and king masala(or curry powder), salt and saute till it is cooked well and brownish in color all in medium flame
add tomato sauce , sugar, almond paste
mix well
start adding evaporated milk slowly.... i mean pour using one hand and stir using another, this has to be done slowly or else milk will curdle

mix well
add cardamom powder, butter and let it simmer
if gravy is thick add water to thin out or low fat milk. if adding low fat milk again add in small amounts and mix it well

add paneer
if needed garnish with cilantro/coriander leaves ENJOY!!!
